About PixelMeta

Built by one person who cares a lot about ownership, calm, and meaningful work.

The simple version

PixelMeta is a small, personal studio building local first tools and private cloud kits. It is the overlap of a few things I care about: software, privacy, personal knowledge, and making technology feel more human.

I am not trying to build the next giant social network. I want to build useful, honest tools that can live with people for years.

Who is behind this

My name is Benny. I write code, learn about data systems, and spend a lot of time thinking about how people relate to technology and each other.

During the day I work as a junior developer. Around that, I build things like the Cloud Kit, mood and habit trackers, and small experiments in organizing knowledge. PixelMeta is the place where all of that lives.

Principles

A few rules that guide what gets built here.

Ownership first
Where possible, you should own the hardware and have access to your data in simple formats.
Calm over hype
Tools should reduce anxiety, not add more noise to your day.
Clarity over complexity
You should be able to explain what a tool does and where your data lives in a few sentences.
Small steps, long horizon
Progress happens in quiet, consistent effort, not dramatic overnight shifts.
